Notification of Change in Room Cleaning Policy

Ariston Hotels Co., Ltd. has set the theme of contributing to the creation of a sustainable global environment by operating eco-friendly hotels and has begun activities to reduce resources related to hotel operations as much as possible at its four hotels (Ariston Hotel Kobe, Ariston Hotel Kyoto Jujo, Ariston Hotel Kanda Kitakyushu-Airport and Ariston Hotel Oita). Until now, we have been working on reforming our operations to be environmentally friendly, such as (1) encouraging the use of toilet paper to its fullest extent, (2) installing ECO cards and suspending linen exchange services for guests who request no linen exchange among guests staying multiple nights, and (3) installing amenity bars to reduce the usage of hotel amenities. To further promote such activities, we have established the following basic policy for room cleaning and have decided to change the way room cleaning is conducted.

１．Room Cleaning Policy for Guests Staying Multiple Nights:

1. Daily room cleaning will be limited to the following, and sheets will not be changed daily:

   1. Exchange of towels (bath towels, face towels, and bathmats).
   2. Disposal of trash in the trash bins in the room.
2. For guests staying four consecutive nights or more, room cleaning will be conducted once every three nights.

Regardless of the above, if you wish to have your room cleaned, we will accommodate your request (an additional fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for room cleaning). Even with the changes to our room cleaning policy, we are committed to providing our guests with an even more comfortable stay by expanding our services further. Additionally, our employees will continue to welcome guests with heartfelt hospitality, and we sincerely appreciate your continued patronage.
